IMO keke operators today protesting against the ban, protesting that the taximo is nothing to write home about and would put many of them out of job as the taximo wouldn't be enough for them and the masses.

Monkeypox In Imo State

There has been unrest in Imo state especially owerri city today as news of the forceful injection of the monkey pox vaccine by the Nigerian soldiers on school children in Anambra which caused the death of those that were injected.

Parents in owerri city hearing this rushed to the various schools of their children withdrawing them before school closing time. Some parents said their children and wards would sit at home until they are sure of the development.

Some other schools had their school gates locked for fear of the military badging in and forcefully inject their students with the deadly vaccine.

Nigerian Second Stanza (the true prayer) To Be Readopted In Nigerian Events And Gathering

Mr president, the second stanza of the national anthem is ignored, not sang at opening events. It's a prayer that commits God Almighty in the affairs of this country and better than the first stanza. Try and Look into its readoption. Thank you Mr president.

Thy servant slew the lion and the bear and so it shall be for this uncircumcised Philistine that has chosen to defy the armies of the Living God.

David had Prophet Samuel, Prophet Zadok and others.
We have Prophet TB Joshua, Bishop Oyedepo and  others. Our God is mighty in battle and He is doing a new thing! How can we lose?

Once has it been written and twice has it been said that all power belongs to God and the heavens rule in the affairs of men.

The children of darkness can NEVER overcome the children of light. The sons of slaves can NEVER overwhelm the sons of the Lord. The counsel of the ungodly can NEVER overule the counsel of God.

No matter what comes our way, no matter how many trials and tribulations we pass through and no matter how much pain we suffer, in the end WE SHALL PREVAIL.

Sons and daughters of the realm be strong and let not this merciless tyrant and his minions and servants intimidate you. God's hand and His love is upon us. We are more than conquerers.

Rescue Comes From Imo State Government To Flood Affected Areas Owerri

Following the prompt response of Sir Jude Ejiogu and Mazi Bruno yesterday giving hotel rooms to as many flood victims in the affected area, the Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha prompted his Chief of Staff Hon. Uche Nwosu and the Secretary to the Government to pay a visit to the area and collect names of those affected to enable them render some form of relief to them including providing a place for those without a place to put their heads. They also went through the area to ascertain those who might have carried out illegal construction work in a well planned area which along with the poor drainage in the state have led to the recent floodings. They also visited Chukwuma Nwoha road.

Imo State: What We Have Is Impressionistic Development By Aic Akwarandu

This is the situation of the only Secondary school in Ogboaku Mbaitoli LGA, Comprehensive Secondary school. Have no doubt, we have worst situations in some other parts of the State. We have a state government that is interested in building Twenty Schools in the state capital while our Kids in the rural areas   school under dilapidated structures. Ask them what they have done, they will post Owerri City school, Ikenegbu girls, etc. The question is, will Chidinma Nwokoro or Ifeanyi Nwankwo (Names not real) from Ogbaku come the state capital daily just to learn at City School?

What we have is impressionistic development and nothing more.
