GOV.OKOROCHA REMOVES ALL FEES PAYABLE BY IMSU AND IMOPOLY STUDENTS

At exactly 2:15pm this afternoon,the Executive Governor of Imo State His Excellency Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha announced the TOTAL removal of fees payable by Imo State University(IMSU) students which is also applicable to Imo State Polytechnic(IMOPOLY) students.The Governor made this known during the commisioning of the newly built IMSU Ultra Modern Recreation Park,at IMSU main campus.
The Governor decided on this move to further demonstrate his commitment to qualitative free education for Imolites,whom he described as his beloved constituents.The Governor further stated that qualitative education is the best gift and greatest empowerment one like him who have the means,can give to his people and that this fact was the motivating factor why he chose empowering people with education as his priority in life.
The students who thronged the venue were overwhelmed as they could not hold back their joy which suddenly led to their shouting "OWELLEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!OUR GOVERNOR OUR GOVERNOR". The summary of interviews and responses from students shows that the students were indeed happy with their Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
The students also used the opportunity at the occasion to tell all those contesting the Governorship of Imo State with their Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha to wait till 2019 as there is no VACANCY in Douglas House.

Information reaching my news desk from a competent source few hours ago had it that the peoples Democratic party (PDP) in IMO State, is pressing so hard on the member representing Nwangele state
constituency in the IMO State House of Assembly, Hon Ugonna Ozuruigbo to defect back to PDP from APC. The source further averred to me that the IMO State PDP chairman , Chief Nnamdi Anyaehie is the
coordinator of the plot and has been disturbing OZB over the purported imaginary defection for some weeks now with the sum of $300,000 dollars. Investigating further on this, i found out that Hon OZB made it clear to PDP that  he can't defects back to the party no matter the amount of money paid to him.
