IDEATO YOUTHS MOVEMENT CALL ON GOV. ROCHAS OKOROCHA TO THINK HOME

IDEATO YOUTHS MOVEMENT CALL ON GOV. ROCHAS OKOROCHA TO THINK HOME

Our people say that ana eshi n'ulo mara mma puwa n'ama,
mmiri shi n'ishi gbaru enweghi mmekwa.
When I look at the state of Ideato today, I wonder where the efficiency of these Igbo proverbs are today! A Constituency that produced the incumbent Governor of Imo state with nothing to show for it. Amongst our peers we are addressed as "umunne governor" Nwanne Rochas and the rest of the them, apparently we are seen as a people that have channeled all the attention of the current government to themselves to the detriment of the other areas. This will surely tell on us someday, but before then let it be on record that we let the world know the actual state of things.
Ideato where Rochas hails from is the worst area you can think of in Imo state today with the least government presence. Our roads are totally abandoned to wear away while those that were remembered were done of the lowest quality you can think of to the extent that they all look like roads that were last touched two decades ago. What we have are sign posts captioned Rochas work force at the beginning of the Roads and when you go few meters into the road you will be certainly disappointed.
Today I ask my fellow Ideato people, how long shall we continue to hope for to hope for better days? How long shall we continue to keep quiet in the name of this governor being our brother? How can we live by the river and still wash our hands with our own spittle? Onye nna ya no n' ala Eze ona aga oku ala mmuo?
It's high time we let oha Imo know that Rochas started failing from home and we have lost faith in him! Yes I have taken the bold statement and you can do same, we can't be soft on this anymore! Our focus right now is how not to repeat these mistakes anymore.
Just look at the state of Ideato Roads and make a decision between you and your conscience not to be part of leadership disaster in Ideato land again!
