What manner of Speaker is Acho Ihim?
Is IMO SPEAKER ACHO IHIM the worst to have held such position, as number three citizen of Imo State?
Records available has it that, Mr Ihim has no capacity under Okorocha’s administration to influence the repair of major roads leading to his LGA, especially the Amaraku roundabout death trap, a gateway to Okigwe Local Government Area,and other road Artilleries in his LGA.
He was said to have lacked inputs in Okorocha’s appointment of Prof Nnamdi Obiaraeri, Hon Irouno Chukwunonye, Hon Emeka Okoronkwo, Hon Sunny Chiadi and ofcourse Pastor Onwuemeodo all from Okigwe LGA since 2011 till date. The above lobbied their way to Okorocha’s government either by merit, crossed political interest, or past relationship.
There is no known Ihim's loyalists or supporter appointed in the executive arm of government or federal boards through his influence neither has he attracted any rural electrification, drilling of Water borehole , rehabilitation of primary school blocks , Primary Health Centre or Community markets upgrades in his local government Area of Okigwe.
As a speaker, in my next article on him, I will expose his take home as number three citizen, his basic salary, allowance, impress and security vote.
This post is a wake up call to Mr Acho Ihim, Speaker Imo State House of Assembly, two time Honourable member representing Okigwe LGA, former Local Government Chairman of Okigwe LGA.
