THE TRUTH ABOUT THE CONFUSION AND EGO WAR IN THE IMO STATE PDP!!!!
It is not in doubt that the Imo State PDP is enmeshed in intractable and irreconcilable political differences and hatred arising from the show of political capacities and reach and connection of the major arrowheads and incurable financiers of the unfortunate circumstances. This has caused the PDP in Imo State several electoral losses formed in the main, from internal conspiracy and hatred and hate and crab mentality of the leadership and followership of the existing factions and factional executive.
When in my several articles I drew attention to these tendencies, not excluding any high or higher political operator or leader, I was accused of possible defection and disrespect and disloyalty and ingratitude, yet these have remained in the sphere of selfish conjecture!!!
And I have been accused of everything known under the sun, yet the truth must be told and promoted for it to be established. Yes, the truth must prevail always!!!!
It' is not in doubt that the factions of Ihedioha and Uzodinma are guilty of the irreconcilable division and hatred and hate in the Imo State PDP!!!!! These are obviously the two major contending tendencies in the scornful political existence and activities antithetical to decency and democratic standards and practices globally!!!!
The two groups are obviously guilty of purported State Executive never elected on any State Congress properly convened in accordance with the PDP Constitution, including the concessions and agreement to shelve the State Congress until a later date to be agreed upon. This decision was communicated in a well attended international press conference by all these leaders and critical and strategic stakeholders!!!! What went wrong thereafter? This question begs and demands patriotic and responsible responses and answers from the leadership and followership of the PDP!!!!
Except the congresses for the wards and the local governments executive, no other Congress has held in Imo State for the purpose of electing or selecting and / or endorsing their usual imposed list of candidates!!!! This distinct claim of existing executive falls squarely on nothing except lies and concocted falsehood cemented in politics of deceit and political brigandage!!!
Flowing from this therefore, both the claims of Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie and Barr. Babatunde Charles Ezekwem and any other claimant howsoever described, are grossly and outrightly and absolutely and clearly unfounded and unfortunate!!!!
And so are the litigation and petition and counter petition to the Inspector General of Police on threats to peace and security in Imo State generally, ostensibly arising from the overbearing tendencies as presented and reviewed.
And only the dissolution of these several factional executive like the Anambra State example, would engender and promote peace and reconciliation and forgiveness in the Imo State PDP!!!!!
And without the knowledge and application of this obvious truth and reality in preference to distinct selfish interests, the PDP would lose further and every election in Imo State especially!!!!
For emphasis, the litigation and petition and counter petition are products of political desperation for naked political power and leadership without responsible recourse to the overall happiness and success and fulfillment of the vast majority of the members, leadership and followership inclusive. These activities, to say the least, are founded on no foundation,clearest irregularities and illegalities, and should be frustrated in quickest political intervention from the National Headquarters of the PDP in Abuja since the Supreme Court has resolved the lingering leadership crisis at the National level of the PDP. And to pretend that everything is smooth owing to protection of selfish inclination by the National Headquarters, would cement the ultimate wreckage of the PDP in Imo State. The pending litigation is unfounded, practically baseless and useless without future political advantages to the fortunes of the party. And therefore, the actors and litigants and petitioners, including their very powerful financiers and arrowheads should be appealed to sheath their swords because to do otherwise would draw further hatred and disenchantment from the people who are labouring under the heavy economic and political ruination and stagnation in disastrous and calamitous and ruinous dimensions and proportions foisted on them by Governor Rochas Okorocha. If the litigation is allowed to run its fullest course without political solution producing winners and losers, then the PDP is dead, and would be buried in the next general election in 2019. The membership of the PDP in Imo State should be preoccupied with the appetite and desire to recover Imo State from the horrendous ruination and stagnation wrought on it by the obvious clueless and rudderless governance of Governor Rochas Okorocha since 2011 to date. The way forward for peace and stability and peaceful coexistence in the PDP in Imo State is the promotion of unconditional reconciliation and integration and application of the letters of the Constitution possibly, where a political solution in dissolution outrightly becomes impracticable and impossible and unreasonable and unrealizable in the circumstances!!!
Fundamentally, illegality however long and tolerated, cannot become legality. Like the Lord Atkin , of the immortal judicial memory , observed and espoused in the time- honoured case of UAC vs Mcfoy , " you cannot build on nothing and expect it to stand....... Illegality however long cannot beget legality". These immortal judicial review and memory summarizes the political circumstances in the Imo State PDP in the disruptive and distractive activities and divisions and hatred and hate and destructions under two notable claimants in Nnamdi Anyaehie and Charles Ezekwem , and who are Legal Practitioners of note.
And except the essence of the PDP power struggle and ego war of their greatest frontliners is not to intervene to rescue and redeem Imo State through a visionary leadership and governance and responsible political direction vide future electoral victory, then the distractive and divisive tendencies and activities and challenges should be encouraged and supported and promoted to remain and at best be sustained positively.
No doubts, these disturbing challenges constitute clearest threats to peace and security and peaceful coexistence in Imo State. This is because the troubles and crisis involve critical stakeholders who in turn hire misguided and disoriented young people and the media to foster their selfish interests and purposes. And ultimately, beyond political party interests and inclination, every responsible and responsive and dutiful and vigilant and patriotic person in Imo State and Nigeria, including all lovers and promoters of democracy and the rule of law , should be worried on these disturbing tendencies because the events whether negative or positive of the Imo State PDP as a microcosm of the macrocosm of the larger society and social network in Imo State, affect everyone and would continue to influence peaceful coexistence and happy political activities across party lines and divides. This is my preoccupation, not on the irreconcilable division and rancour arising political struggle for dominance and supremacy within the Imo State PDP.
While wishing quickest positive resolution of these tendencies and challenges, the established political leaders and politicians and operators should be minded on the raging but adorable agitation for the transfer of political power and leadership to the generation next in Imo State especially. And at all times and circumstances, this should be a topmost political priority in Imo State, and in the PDP!!!! This is the greatest challenge beyond the struggle for political correctness and economic supremacy by the established political leaders and politicians and operators.
And therefore, let the truth and good reason prevail always!!!
