OHAJI-EGBEMA CHAPTER DEFINES THE ESSENCE OF ARARAUME FAN CLUBISM; SCORES A BEAUTIFUL GOAL!SETS THE PACE!
-AS ORLU OKIGWE PRESIDENT GENERAL, CHIEF C.C. ANYANWU, CHIEF ESOM OBODO, PhD, The Prince of oil kingdom, et al, were there, live!!! Their impact was felt. The Mgbirichi Town was shut down on Saturday 19th August, 2017. Rev. Dr. Prince Gill Ogbonna, CGC, MIN, Chairman Senator Araraume FAN Club Ohaji/Egbema L.G.A, was not kidding in ensuring that his LGA scored the first goal. Senator Araraume and his team were ushered into this serene town, like a war-general returning from a victorious battle. It was a triumphant entry into Mgbirichi town.
The Most distinguished Senator, came to inaugurate the Ohaji/Egbema LGA FAN CLUB. The FAN CLUBISM is so to say, A JOHN THE BAPTIST, preparing the way for the one who is to come in Imo 2019. Ohaji/Egbema youths, ladies and gentlemen, prepared the way for MR. Due Process, a member of their family and community.
Senator Araraume is on his way to ensure that their 13% derivation be 100% utilized for Ohaji/Egbema, roads, industrialization, youth empowerment and skill acquisition. Youth restiveness will be a thing of the past. The Most distinguished Senator, ensured that the power station meant for Ohaji/Egbema during his stay at the 7th Senate Red chamber, was brought to the Ohaji/Egbema soil. Currently, it is about to be put into effective use. Thanks to his strong voice and contact.
The council of Ohaji/Egbema Chiefs, in their Chieftaincy Regalia trooped out in their immaculate white, with red caps to match, welcomed the Senator and his team, at Mgbirichi Obirinze boundary. Their excitements were unquantifiable. The twelve wards in Ohaji/Egbema registered their presence with out fear or any intimidation; though some detractors tried to rear their ugly heads. But no one tried any thing funny, as the Most distinguished senator was being sandwiched with fierce looking security zhars, who looked like the Israel Mossad Security Agents guarding their “Netanyahu”! No one dares.
The Senator’s AWACS were, and always super. He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber, nor sleep.
The twelve wards: of Umuapu, Obitti/Mgbuisi, Awara/Ikwerede, Ohoba, Ekwuato, Umuagwo, Elders Council, disabled FAN CLUB, Anambra Meeting, 27 LGAs Chairmen, Women Organization, Imo Polytechnic Students, Egbema wards A,B,C,D and E, Were canopied; all beaming with smile and satisfaction.
The Prince of oil kingdom Chief ESSOM Obodo Ph.D prayed. Chief C.C Anyanwu President General, Olu Okigwe was there. Chief Barr. Bethel Izimaka (Ohia Ahura Agu), erstwhile deputy Governoship candidate and former Owerri west Council Chairman was Present. The Elders council chairman, Chief Ogbuehi welcomed Senator Araraume and predicted his victory; ahead of time.
The physically challenged prayed passionately for Senator Araraume. The Gold Medallist Obilo Chidimma pleaded with senator Araraume to come to her Macedonia. Uwalaka Dandy’s voice and that of Okorie Osita were heard. The physically challenged pleaded with Senator Araraume to come and salvage Imo. They believe in him. The Imo Poly SUG President, spoke fearless in solidarity to the Hero of Imo democracy and the game changer. They gave senator Araraume 50 GBOZAS. Senator Araraume’s message to Ohaji/Egbema indigenes was short and straight to the point: Ohaji/Egbema occupies a special place in my heart.!! Your 13% oil derivation, will be utilized fully for your roads, quality ones; your youths with skills will be fully empowered. Those youths without skills will be encouraged to be skilled. Ohaji/Egbema will be a show piece. All that were lost, will be restored. Ohaji/Egbema, the basket food and the hen that lays the golden eggs for the Nation will no longer be a beggar local government, under Araraume watch.
To Rev. Dr. Gill Ogbonna, a big pat was on his back for a beautiful outing. The newly commissioned Ohaji/Egbema FAN CLUB office, was a thing of beauty for senator Araraume. The Araraume- Nepad Peer Review Mechanism started from Ohaji/Egbema FAN CLUB outing. They scored the first goal. The challenger is expected. But Ada Agbufor Esq. National Deputy leader, Senator Araraume FAN CLUB, took up that challenge.
The success story of Senator Araraume FAN CLUB in Imo state goes to the strength of character, zeal, pragmatism of the leadership qualities of its state’s Chairman, Chief Alloy Odubam, Akuwanta 1 of Amaraku and his state executive.
In Sir Araraume words; "electors are to carefully scrutinize those they elect in any future positions. It is the duty of the elected to be humble, eschew bitterness and over acquisition of material wealth to the detriment of the governed. I didn't become successful by your commonwealth, I was already successful and a king maker before 1999 and whatever was my entitlement and benefits as a senator went into seeking a redress in court against PDP and President Obasanjo's imposition of candidate against your wish in 2007.
Since then, I have not held any political office in confidence for you, and I don't think I have become less a successful man. One does not give what he does not have"
He stated his priorities to be: good governance and the delivery of the dividend of democracy to the electorates. Whenever the electors elect somebody they trust who is, conscious of service to the people, people therefore will be happy.
But when the reverse is the case, that leader or person must have murdered sleep. His second point was for all the APC executive officers from ward to the National, to go about their normal activities, obey APC party rules and regulations but never to fear for any intimidation from any body. If body tries to be funny by sacking any body, efforts should be made to get them informed. Every Nigerian enjoys two fundamental freedoms: that of Speech and Association. These are the inalienable rights of the citizenry. NO BODY CAN REMOVE YOU. He enjoined all to ensure to belong to APC, the only viable party now in Nigeria. We are in for a progressive change. Your vote is your power. Without your votes, you are powerless; with it you can effect the desired change, come 2019. The good news is that our beloved President Muhammadu Buhari is safe and back home.
To Ohaji/Egbema Citizens, the future belongs to you. You produce the oil for the state and for the Nation. Are you better off now? Are your youths gainfully employed or empowered? Do the youths possess the requisite skills? Are they ready to acquire one? The answer was in the affirmative. All stood up to be counted. The Distinguished Senator Araraume received a standing Ovation.
Oh faithful servant, Rev. Dr. Prince Gill Ogbonna, “you’ve done well”. This was the echo from the Most distinguished senator Araraume who exclaimed: I am overwhelmed”. A challenge has been thrown to the other 26 LGAs of Imo state who poured into Mgbirichi central school in their thousands, to grace this historic inauguration of the FAN CLUB of Ohaji/Egbema for Araraume.
The oil kingdom has taken up the MOMENTUM, which local government beats them OHAJI/EGBEMA? THE Game is up. THANK YOU!
